Upminster Windmill

I took these photos when I was last home, in May. This windmill is close to my home. It was built in 1803 and flour was produced here until 1910, after which time, it was used to grind animal feed. Today the mill is open to the public and considered to be “amongst the very best remaining English smock mills”. Plus a cool place to take photos – these are both HDR images. Enjoy!!
